Strawberry Chiffon Pie

Strawberry Chiffon Pie makes any meal complete or it makes a greatly mid-afternoon pie and coffee treat. This pie can even meet your diet requirements depending upon the recipe you choose to make your Strawberry Chiffon Pie. The Strawberry Chiffon Pie low calorie recipe contains 15 grams of carbohydrates and 125 calories. This recipe’s ingredients require a cup of water, an unsweetened strawberry kool aid .20 packet, unflavored Knox gelatin package, equal sugar substitute needs 8 packets, 9 fresh strawberries, and a crust of graham crackers that is 9 inches, instant dry milk 2 table spoons and a topping of low calorie whip cream.

The water and gelatin are mixed together then sets for five minutes. Next, heat it to dissolve the gelatin. Put in the sweetener and kool aid stir thoroughly. Allow for slight thickening in refrigerator. Put the dry milk into mixture and on a high speed whip it until it gets stiff and creamy. Now, slowly add the topping into your gelatin that was whipped. Pour the mixture into your graham cracker pie pan and level it off. Eyeball your pie and place a fresh strawberry on each of the eight serving pieces it makes.

Be sure to add on to the middle of your pie. Refrigerate until needed then cut 8 pieces. To make this recipe quicker purchase your pre-made pie crust and substitute whip topping with other low calories brands from your grocery store. You can substitute the crust with some of your other favorite ones but it may increase the calorie count a bit. Another variation is to slice strawberries and put them all the way around your pie’s edge forming a ring around your pie. Adding a teaspoon of lemon juice makes it tart.
