Apple Sauce Bread

This is a great time of year because you can make a bunch of recipes and you can bake things that have fruit in them. This is a really good recipe and has a great taste to it. It is called Applesauce Bread and there are many recipes online to make this. There is one that is made by Paula Deen, and it is a really easy recipe that you can follow.

When you first start out, you should preheat your oven to 350 degrees and then you should grease and flour your pan which should be a 4 by 5 inch loaf pan.

You need 1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, softened, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, allspice, and vanilla.

Then you can add 1 cup of applesauce, 2 large eggs, 1 cup of raisins, and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. You can cream the butter and the brown sugar. And then you should add the remaining ingredients except the raisin and the nuts. You should mix until it is well blended. Then you can put in the raisins and the nuts in and mix. Then you can pour it into your loaf pan.

You should bake this about 1 hour and 5 minutes and then you should let it cool a while and then you can cut the bread. You can put this whole recipe together in 10 minutes.

It sounds very easy to make. You can find this recipe at www.foodnetwork.com.
